Zanetti: Kiev fixture is fundamental for Inter
Inter Milan is still going strong in the Serie A, beating Livorno this Sunday (0-2). The reigning champions are on their way to their fifth consecutive title in Italy but have yet to shine in Europe. Inter captain Javier Zanetti is confident his side will turn the tide in Kiev on Wednesday.
Inter travels to the Ukraine in desperate need of a win. The Nerazzurri have drawn their first three matches and anything less than a win could seriously damage their hopes of making it to the next round.
"It will be a fundamental, delicate and difficult game, but we will face it with great personality, conscious of our strengths," Zanetti told Inter Channel.
“We don't have a complete squad, we hope that Muntari's injury isn't bad."
Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari picked up an injury during Sunday's match, adding to the club's injury headaches. Inter hopes Thiago Motta and Wesley Sneijder will return from their injuries before Wednesday's match.
